Lisa J. Smith Apps Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 11, 2026
This policy covers Who’s Driving? and Learning to Live Again, provided by Lisa J. Smith. Features and purchasing availability may differ between apps and platforms.
Your journal, reflections, and saved tools
Your journal entries, check ins, reflections, practice responses, progress, personal plans, and saved favorites are stored locally on your device. Learning to Live Again also stores your Grief Maps, memories, letters, and difficult day plans locally.
The apps do not send this writing to Lisa J. Smith or RevenueCat. They do not provide automatic journal syncing between devices. You do not need to create an app account or provide your name or email address to use these features.
Your writing may include sensitive information about feelings, relationships, grief, or health. Record only what you want to keep. Your device’s backup settings may include app data. Your journal is not a separate encrypted vault. Protect your device and any exported copies.
Guided audio
Learning to Live Again includes prerecorded guided audio and written transcripts. Listening does not require microphone access, and the app does not record your voice.
The guides use an AI version of Lisa J. Smith’s voice, with scripts written and approved by Lisa. Your journal content is not submitted to an AI service to generate these recordings.
Purchases and restoring access
When purchasing is enabled, the apps use Apple’s App Store on Apple devices or Google Play on Android devices, together with RevenueCat, to process purchases, verify access to paid content, and restore eligible purchases. Purchasing may not be enabled in every app version.
RevenueCat processes purchase records, transaction identifiers, an automatically generated app user identifier, and technical information associated with the purchase service. This may include device type, operating system, and purchase related app activity.
This information is used for purchase verification, restoration, troubleshooting, and operation of the purchase service.
Apple or Google handles your payment details. Lisa J. Smith does not receive your full payment card information.
Restoring a purchase does not restore or sync locally stored journal entries. Access across different stores depends on the purchase arrangement available in the app.
Exporting your information
You may export saved information using the export features available in each app. An export creates a copy of your writing.
When you choose another app, a cloud service, or another destination for an export, that service’s privacy practices apply. Keep exported files somewhere you trust.
Deleting your information
You may delete individual entries or use the app’s data deletion option to remove locally saved information. Clearing app storage or removing the app may also remove local information. Device backups may retain copies according to your device settings.
Deleting local data does not delete previously exported files, device backups, or transaction records held by Apple, Google, or RevenueCat.
Deleting local data does not cancel a subscription, if you have one, or request a refund. Manage store purchases and any subscriptions through the store where you purchased them.
Advertising and tracking
The apps do not display third party advertisements or use journal content for advertising. We do not sell your personal information or use it for tracking across other companies’ apps and websites.
Contacting us
If you contact us, we receive information you choose to send, such as your email address and message. We use this information to respond and resolve your request.
Please avoid sending sensitive journal content unless you choose to share it.
Service providers and external links
Apple, Google, and RevenueCat process purchase information when their services are used. Information may be processed outside your country, including in the United States. Their privacy practices apply to the information they process through their services.
If you open a website or another external service from an app, that service’s privacy practices apply. This policy covers the apps; it does not replace the privacy information for Lisa J. Smith’s website or other linked services.
